I used to have a problem with panic attacks and anxiety. I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety Disorder. I've managed now to get these under control.
What helps me when having an anxiety attack is to get to a place where you can lay down or just be by yourself. Take deep slow breaths and even if it's hard for you keep trying. Close your eyes and think about something that is peaceful and calming. When you manage to get yourself back under control lie down and try to watch some tv or listen to some music.
This works well for me, when I have bad anxiety attacks still sometimes and I'll pass out from not being able to breath enough. It can be really bad sometimes but this is what I have to do to get a hold of myself and get my breathing under control.
