You will ultimately achieve any task undertaken and persevered with. Self confidence will determine the magnitude of those tasks, and ultimately the magnitude of your life

You cannot succeed at a task you do not attempt. Self confidence is your decision making tool used to determine what task you will or will not undertake.

As human beings we have tremendous potential and adaptability. We are all capable of achieving far, far beyond what most consider possible. There is a genius in all of us. We simply must find that genius and release it.

You cannot know what you are capable of until you find yourself in a situation and faced directly with that task. If you possess high self confidence you will attempt more, and ultimately achieve more. If your self confidence is low, well, you just won’t bother.

It is ironic that these better images of self are gained somewhat in experience. This does not mean the situation is hopeless, no, not at all. It just means we are going to have to be very clear about what we want, and very determined to get it.

This is not easy, or painless so be warned. If it was, all would have incredible self esteem and confidence. They don’t. So lets look at the rewards for your hard work and efforts.

  • Land your dream job or career
  • Feel confident, competent and able in any area you choose
  • Find love and relationships
  • Lift depression
  • Make more money
  • Speak up when you have something to say
  • No longer feel oppressed and with no say in life
  • Make decisions knowing you have the ability to follow through

Yes, some work is going to be required, but I think you will agree, it's well worth it. Remember, you get out what you put in, plus a little interest, just like a bank. You just can’t put a little in and expect a lot back. It doesn’t work like that. No short cuts here I’m afraid.

So how do we start?

You start by developing a solid value and belief system, then you determine to live by that, regardless of the outcome. To have self confidence, you must know who you are and what you are, as well as what you stand for and would never stand for. Once you have this your sense of worth becomes completely internal. You are freed forever from the need of approval of the masses, your own approval is what you seek.

If you do not know who you are, then you are lost. Who, when lost, has ever been confident of anything? None, no, not possible. You have to take the time to learn who you are.

Next you have to recognize confidence is a muscle and is strengthened through exercise. You have to act outside of your comfort zone. Be realistic in this. If you are at 2/10 say, your goal is to get to 3/10 then 4/10. If you try to jump to 8/10 straight away you will not only fail, but you will be worse off than when you started. Baby steps here. Lots of little things equal big results. It’s going to take some time. Accept this, you have no choice. Don’t let a day go by though without scaring yourself at least once. Even a little fright will do! Speak to a stranger, do something, anything.

Learn to set achievable goals. Very important. Once you start to do this you begin to see your true potential. You can actually do anything you choose. Goal setting lets you experience this. It is a very satisfying experience to know you will achieve any goal you set. Not only that, but you build your self confidence in the mean time through achieving those goals.

Review the other areas on this site. It’s all related. You really can’t improve only one area of your life and expect to succeed. Put together an overall plan to improve every area of life. Be self confident, be happy, be stress free and financially independent, be in a position to really grab all life has to offer. You see how this is all related? How could you possibly have what was just mentioned and not be confident. You need it all.

Make a promise to yourself now - “I will not stop until I have it all“
